I talked to my “sisty ugler” today and she referred me here. Loved reading your posts so far. It is a bit disorienting not having all the usual props around, but you sound like you are still standing. What a great time and way to get to know yourself. i am starting to sound old, so I better go before I embarrass myself by
telling you this is the best time of your life.
i look forward to the continuing story,

Hey Cait – thanks for clearing up the comment stuff for us techno losers!! Its taken me this long to figure out how to send you a message!! Congrats on getting into uni – but bigger congrats on grabbing your amazing adventure by the tale!! hope the homesickishness is getting better – actually it is better to feel that way then not – although I am sure it doesn’t seem that way to you – any luck on the job front – try a few flower shops kiddo – they often need people to clean flowers or help around the shop!! you must have learned some of that by osmosis – anyway Caitie – hang in there – personally i think taking in as much of where you are as you can is a job in itslf eh!!!

I’m lame and barely have much to say, but I love you muchly, and I’m sure you’ll manage to catch me on AIM at some point because I’m online all day, as you have probably noticed!

And I’m glad your cold is getting better. It of course picks the moment when you have no time for colds to exist. XP

Mommy is so happy that she just had to write the very first COMMENT (as opposed to the new-fangled ESCAPE!!)

I’m glad your cold is a bit better and that you are meeting Mike today. I think a few days of semi homelife may be just what the doctor ordered. You can re-group, do your laundry, use the phone and internet and above all — get a good night’s sleep. Thank heavens for family and friends (a million thank yous to you, Kathy McP, if you’re reading along)

This is your week for a job — I can feel it in my bones. Is today the job fair at the British Museum?? Good luck with that. Maybe you could even line something up for next summer?

I’m sending your acceptance in to University of Ottawa today — I have a couple of questions — maybe I’ll wait until I talk with you before sending…
