One Major Flaw

I am so freaking lazy when it comes to design. It’s actually pretty shameful.

I am building for this website a single column very basic design since it serves as a home for all my little crappy/nostalgic/strange pet projects. Since this place is going to be stripped down I’ve been looking at the option of turning the whole ‘kit-and-kaboodle’ as my mother would sort of oddly say into a Wordpress MU smorgasbord so that absolutely everything can be updated in the most reduced way possible. I just need to decide if this is too heavy… I don’t think it is? I don’t know, there are all these little websites I’ve had since about 16 my pack rat self cannot bring herself to junk.

Any ways, I am looking into options that will bring updating everything to a central location and therefore give me no excuse for not updating things. Also, despite pretending I’m done with fanlistings applied to snake the Umbreon one since Nayru told me she might be adopting it out. Shame on me, shame on me.

New Character Fansite on the Table

After engaging in an ongoing Daria Marathon I have decided a small Jane Lane fansite is in order because I’m crazy.

I’m also feeling webmistressy tonight, so maybe I’ll get fanupdate and codesort on my fanlistings as well as may some fresh layouts. I got approved for Sick Boy, but might not make it any more. I don’t know, I want to, I might send TFL an e-mail. I shall muse on it.

Cheshire Cat Fanlist and Magical Mystery Tour get first dibs on my designing.

Web Existential Crisis

I really adored the layout the Amber made for me, so thank you a million times over to her for her gift to this site, I appreciate it more than you know. However, Empty Cage was looking too dark for me, and so, I cheated this time around and downloaded one. This was actually the first layout I stumbled across, so if I find another I like maybe I’ll change me mind on it. This is vaguely similar to the design I was conceptualising before I hit the snag of no web motivation whatsoever.

To be honest, I’m really frustrated with my websites right now. I feel like they should be more, but that it’s something I cannot seem to put into them. The content I write being flat, graphics being nothing special and, well, let’s face it, it seems all so mindlessly self-indulgent. Which it is I guess, I spend a lot of time sharing my opinions and life with the internet, and really I give nothing back. I dunno, this entry feels like a continuation of that.

I don’t know, I need to think.
